SOUTH CAROLINA — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning on Fair Bluff Road, according to authorities.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. when a Ford Explorer traveling westbound hit a pedestrian who was also walking west.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said the incident remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
