
SOUTH CAROLINA — One person is dead and another injured following a hit-and-run crash involving two pedestrians early Sunday morning in Myrtle Beach.
According to police, officers responded around 12:30 a.m. to the intersection of 21st Avenue South and Kings Highway after receiving reports of a crash.
When they arrived, they found that two pedestrians had been struck by a vehicle, and the driver had fled the scene.
Both victims were taken to a hospital for treatment, where one later died.
Police located the suspect’s vehicle and arrested the driver. No further information has been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
