
SOUTH CAROLINA — A pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning in a crash in Greenville, according to officials.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said the incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. in the 1,200 block of South Pleasantburg Drive. Authorities reported that a vehicle and a pedestrian were involved in the crash.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The coroner’s office stated that the cause and manner of death remain under investigation and are pending an external examination scheduled for Saturday.
The Greenville City Police Department, along with the coroner’s office, continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
