PENNSYLVANIA — A 68-year-old woman died Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle near a retail shopping center in Mercer County, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report released Friday.
Troopers were called to Center Church Road near Amsterdam Road shortly after 3 p.m. for a pedestrian-versus-vehicle crash. The incident occurred near the Grove City Outlets.
Investigators said a vehicle was making a right turn onto Center Church Road when it struck the woman, identified as Melissa Biddle of Grove City, who had been walking nearby. She was taken to AHN Grove City Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.
The vehicle involved sustained minor damage to its front passenger side. Police have not said whether any charges will be filed.
The investigation remains ongoing.
