OHIO — A woman was killed early Sunday morning after being struck by a car in Franklin Township, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 12:25 a.m. when a 2024 Honda Civic was traveling east on West Broad Street near Broadlawn Avenue.
The vehicle struck the woman while she was in the roadway.
She was taken to Doctors West Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after 1 a.m.
The driver of the Honda remained at the scene. Neither the driver nor a passenger in the vehicle was injured.
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Unit at 614-525-6113.
