OHIO — A man was killed early Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle near northeast Columbus, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash happened just before 5:35 a.m. on Agler Road, east of Stelzer Road. A 2000 Chevy Blazer was traveling west on Agler Road when it hit the man.
The victim was taken to Mount Carmel East hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 6:08 a.m., authorities said.
The driver of the Blazer was not injured and remained at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
