OHIO — A 72-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car outside a Kroger store in Cherry Grove, authorities said.
Union Township police responded to the store on Ohio Pike around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday. Officers found the woman, later identified as Nancy Turer of Cincinnati, who was transported to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Police have not released information about the driver but said preliminary investigations indicate drugs and alcohol were not factors.
The investigation remains ongoing.
