MICHIGAN — A Macomb County resident was found dead early Thursday morning following a hit-and-run crash in Oakland County, according to police.
Officers with the Farmington Hills Police Department said the crash occurred sometime between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2026. A 68-year-old man from Macomb County was discovered at the intersection of Middlebelt Road and Eldon Street.
Authorities said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No information has been released about the vehicle involved in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation, and police have not released additional details.
