
KENTUCKY — Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian in Hopkins County.
According to a release from the Kentucky State Police, troopers from Post 2 responded Tuesday evening to the intersection of U.S. 41 and Old Nortonville–White Plains Road in Nortonville to assist with the response and investigation of a collision.
Authorities said a vehicle driven by a Hopkins County man struck a pedestrian who witnesses reported was standing in the roadway at the time of the crash.
The pedestrian was identified as 69-year-old Joseph David of Nortonville. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hopkins County Coroner.
The crash remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police.
