KENTUCKY — One person has died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Horse Cave, according to the Kentucky State Police.
Kentucky State Police Post 3 Public Affairs Officer Trooper Katan Parker said troopers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 7:22 p.m. The incident occurred at the Love’s Travel Stop in Horse Cave.
Police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the location. The pedestrian was later identified as 28-year-old Danny L. Pate Jr. of Park City.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
