KANSAS — One person is dead after a crash involving a pedestrian Wednesday afternoon in Sedgwick County, according to authorities.
Dispatchers said the crash occurred around 4 p.m. near East 119th Street South and South Meridian Avenue, near the community of Peck.
Officials confirmed that a pedestrian was struck and pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the identity of the victim, and it is unclear what led up to the crash.
