INDIANA — Fort Wayne police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred Saturday night in the southeast part of the city.
Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to reports of a possible shooting or vehicle-related incident near the intersection of Paulding Road and Calhoun Street around 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the victim had been struck in a hit-and-run crash. The individual was transported to a local hospital, where they later died.
Police have not yet released the identity of the victim or provided a description of the vehicle involved in the crash.
