GEORGIA — A pedestrian was killed in a crash early Monday morning on Cobb Parkway at Crater Lake Drive in Kennesaw, authorities said.
Cobb County police reported that officers responded just after 5 a.m. to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have not provided information about the vehicle involved, and no vehicle was at the scene when police arrived.
Cobb County Police’s STEP unit and Kennesaw police are investigating the incident.
Cobb Parkway southbound was temporarily closed from Old Highway 41 to Barrett Parkway during the investigation but reopened by 8:17 a.m.
