FLORIDA — A 20-year-old Spring Hill man died Sunday night after being struck by a pickup truck on International Speedway Boulevard, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred shortly before 9 p.m. near Red John Drive. Investigators said the man’s own pickup truck and trailer had become disabled in the westbound lane, and he was standing outside the vehicle when a 2017 Ford F-250 struck him.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the F-250 and her passenger were not injured, FHP said.
The crash remains under investigation.
