OHIO — A 73-year-old woman has died after being hit by two vehicles while walking on the city’s West Side Wednesday morning.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Beverly Jones, of Cleveland.
Police said the accident occurred around 10 a.m. at the intersection of West 58th Street and Lorain Avenue. Jones was first struck by one vehicle and, while lying in the roadway, was hit by a second.
The driver of the first vehicle remained at the scene and called 911. The incident remains under investigation.
