KENTUCKY — A 35-year-old man was killed Wednesday evening after being struck by two vehicles while walking along U.S. 421 North, near the junction of Young Drive, according to Kentucky State Police.
Officials said Clay County 911 first received reports of a man dressed in all black walking in the roadway.
Multiple calls later came in reporting that the man had been hit by a vehicle.
Troopers said Shannon S. Bryant of Manchester was first struck by an SUV and then hit moments later by a sedan. He was taken to AdventHealth Manchester, where he was pronounced dead by the Clay County Coroner’s Office.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
