SOUTH CAROLINA — A four-month-old baby died Monday after being left inside a vehicle, Williamsburg County authorities reported.
The infant was pronounced dead at MUSC Health Black River Medical Center, according to Coroner Ivori Henryhand.
Police have taken one person into custody in connection with the child’s death.
The Kingstree Police Department is investigating, but officials say the investigation is still in its early stages and few details have been released.
