GEORGIA — A suspected cocaine dealer and a fugitive were taken into custody following a drug bust in Macon, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said investigators with the Criminal Investigation Division Drug Unit, along with the U.S. Marshals Service, made the arrests on Rice Circle.
Deputies identified one of the suspects as Horace Ray Wise, who was wanted on outstanding warrants including aggravated stalking, battery and a probation violation related to narcotics distribution.
Officials said a second suspect attempted to flee the residence but was quickly apprehended.
During the investigation, deputies reported recovering crack cocaine, marijuana, a large amount of cash and drug packaging materials.
Wise was charged with possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Authorities noted Wise had previously been arrested in 2022 as part of a large drug investigation in Monroe County that resulted in dozens of arrests.
Both suspects were transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
The investigation remains ongoing.
