NORTH CAROLINA — A Hubert man is facing multiple charges after being arrested by the Jacksonville Police Department.
According to authorities, 27-year-old Howard Sanseverino was arrested Thursday, March 12. He is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor resisting a public officer.
Arrest records state officers found Sanseverino in possession of methamphetamine and determined he was using the front passenger area of a vehicle for controlled substances.
Police also located several items of drug paraphernalia, including straws with residue, plastic caps, wire mesh, aluminum foil, a glass container and a shoebox allegedly used to store or conceal drugs.
Authorities say Sanseverino provided a false name and date of birth while officers were investigating a wanted subject connected to the vehicle.
