OHIO — A 45-year-old man was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon in Logan County on an outstanding warrant related to drug charges.
According to arrest records, Rustie Smith was arrested on one count of drug trafficking and one count of drug possession. Authorities said Smith was taken into custody without incident.
Smith remains incarcerated at the Logan County Jail.
Court records indicate that Smith is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. Friday in a Logan County courtroom. The hearing will be held before Judge Kevin Braig.
Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the charges. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
