SOUTH CAROLINA — A Maxton man is facing a range of serious charges following a law enforcement operation on Friday, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested 39-year-old Rory Wallen after executing a search warrant at a residence on 184 Carl Street.
Investigators, along with SWAT operators, reportedly seized cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, firearms, cash, and drug paraphernalia during the raid.
Wallen is charged with second-degree kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, trafficking in cocaine and methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is currently being held at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is leading the investigation with assistance from the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. Authorities noted that Wallen was arrested in 2023 on similar charges.
