OHIO — A 55-year-old woman was shot and killed Tuesday night inside an apartment on Brownberry Drive, authorities said.
Wilmington police responded to reports of a shooting at 7:49 p.m. in the 1100 block of Brownberry Drive.
When officers arrived, they found Kelley Blazer with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Blazer’s son, Kyler Whitt, 33, was present at the apartment and taken into custody, according to Police Chief Wilson.
Whitt has been charged with murder and is being held in the Clinton County Jail.
