OHIO — Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded early Monday morning to a home in Lakeview after a barefoot woman was found on the porch claiming she had been kidnapped.
The woman, identified as 69-year-old Debra Ambos-Hensley, told deputies she had been abducted from the Caribbean, had her wallet and teeth taken, and was dropped off in Ohio.
However, deputies noted that she appeared unsteady and showed signs of intoxication.
Further investigation revealed that Ambos-Hensley is a resident of the home where she was found.
She later admitted to living alone and having consumed alcohol earlier in the day.
Due to her impaired condition and inability to care for herself, she was arrested for disorderly conduct.
A search of the home revealed three large empty liquor bottles in the trash and a half-full glass of brown liquid on a table.
Ambos-Hensley also mentioned searching for a missing dog, though no dog was found at the residence.
She was transported to the Logan County Jail.
