FLORIDA — A man on probation in Alachua County was arrested following a traffic stop that led to the discovery of drugs, according to authorities.
Deputies said 20-year-old Reuben Williams was stopped Tuesday night on University Avenue in Gainesville.
During the stop, officials reported finding oxycodone pills along with more than 100 grams of marijuana and clear plastic baggies.
Authorities said Williams attempted to conceal the pills in his underwear.
Investigators noted that Williams has a prior burglary conviction. He now faces drug trafficking charges in connection with the incident.
The case remains under investigation.
