OHIO — Police have arrested one person in connection with threats made against Howland Middle School on social media, authorities announced Sunday.
According to the Howland Township Police Department, officers became aware of a threat posted on TikTok and began investigating.
The department first alerted the public about the situation in a social media post around 2 p.m.
Two hours later, police provided an update stating that an arrest had been made in connection with the threat.
Officials assured the public that there was no longer an active or immediate danger.
