NORTH CAROLINA — A Hickory man was arrested Tuesday on drug charges involving fentanyl, according to local authorities.
Hickory Police said 32-year-old Josiah Tanner Williams, of 2nd Street Place SW, was taken into custody on March 24.
Williams is charged with possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Following his arrest, he was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond.
Officials said a District Court appearance was scheduled for Tuesday.
No additional details about the circumstances leading to the arrest were released.
