KENTUCKY — A 33-year-old woman has been charged with driving under the influence after a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning, police reported.

The Bowling Green Police Department responded just before 2:30 a.m. to the 3200 block of Smallhouse Road following an automatic crash notification. Officers discovered the vehicle had struck near a home.

The driver, identified as Katy Humphrey of Bowling Green, told police she had consumed about six shots of alcohol at a local bar and took full responsibility for the incident. A female passenger sustained a cut to her leg and was transported to TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital for treatment.

After standard field sobriety testing, Humphrey was taken into custody. Police also reported finding a plastic bag of suspected cocaine inside the vehicle, along with cocaine in Humphrey’s possession.

Humphrey was transported to the Warren County Regional Jail following medical clearance. She faces charges including first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, operating a motor vehicle under the influence (second offense), and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine).
