ALABAMA — A driver was arrested for DUI after hitting a Huntsville police vehicle early Sunday morning, according to the Huntsville Police Department.
Police said the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. when an officer was driving north on Jordan Lane near Fanning Street. A car pulled out of a private parking lot and struck the officer’s vehicle.
Both vehicles were damaged, but no injuries were reported.
Investigators said the driver of the car was under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody on a DUI charge.
The incident remains under investigation.
