KENTUCKY — A man was arrested early Saturday morning after fleeing from deputies following a burglary investigation.
Wayne County deputies responded around 3 a.m. to a home on Spann Hill Road searching for a burglary suspect. They identified the suspect as Kyle Hicks of Monticello, Kentucky.
Deputies spotted Hicks inside the house. When he exited through the front door, he attempted to run but was tased and caught during the chase.
Hicks was charged with fleeing or evading police and resisting arrest. He was taken to the Wayne County Detention Center.
The investigation into the burglary is ongoing.
