KENTUCKY — A man was arrested Sunday on multiple active warrants and later charged with bringing drugs into the Allen County Detention Center, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on July 6 and identified the driver as 44-year-old Phillip Windham of Scottsville.
Windham had outstanding warrants from several counties and was taken into custody.
Shortly after Windham was lodged in the jail, staff discovered narcotics he had brought inside.
The evidence was collected, and Windham faces several charges, including first-degree promoting contraband, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.
Windham is currently held on a $1,200 cash bond.
