ALABAMA — A Georgia man is in custody after being charged in connection with an auto burglary in Auburn, according to police.
Christopher Michael McCullum, 51, of Sugar Hill, Georgia, faces charges of unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and third-degree theft of property.
Police said the charges stem from a report filed Aug. 5. The victim told officers that on Aug. 4, someone entered a vehicle parked near the 2500 block of Buc-ee’s Boulevard and stole property.
McCullum was later located in Mobile County by the Saraland Police Department. He was taken into custody and transported from the Mobile County Metro Jail to the Auburn Police Department, then booked into the Lee County Jail.
He is being held on a $4,500 bond.
