SOUTH CAROLINA — A man has been arrested in connection with two assaults that occurred earlier this year in the McColl area, according to the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Anthony Brigman was taken into custody Monday and charged with two counts of assault and battery.
Investigators reported that in May 2025, Brigman struck a victim with a metal cane during an altercation. Two days later, he allegedly assaulted the same victim again, this time using a stick.
Brigman is being held at the Marlboro County Detention Center as he awaits a bond hearing.
