VIRGINIA — A 34-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after police say he stabbed another man earlier in the day.
According to the Petersburg Bureau of Police, officers responded to the 1600 block of Monticello Street on Aug. 20 for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, they found a 42-year-old man suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect, identified as Tony Bae, 34, was arrested near the scene and charged with aggravated assault.
Bae is being held in custody pending his next court appearance, scheduled for Oct. 6 in Petersburg General District Court.
