
TENNESSEE — A man was arrested Wednesday following a reported stabbing in the Bloomingdale area of Kingsport.
Deputies with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Marietta Street around 3:45 p.m., where they found a male victim with a stab wound. The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot.
According to a news release from the SCSO, deputies located Kevin Lee Davis, 43, walking nearby and took him into custody. Davis was charged with aggravated assault and is being held in the Sullivan County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
