SOUTH CAROLINA — A Rembert man has been arrested following a reported gunfire incident at a mobile home park in Sumter County, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded Friday morning to Plains Mobile Home Park, located near Broad Street and Eagle Road, after receiving reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, a deputy observed a vehicle speeding away from a home at the park. The deputy followed the vehicle and conducted a stop, making contact with the driver, identified as Unice Jaquireus McCall.
McCall was taken into custody and charged with attempted murder and domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.
He was transported to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, where he is awaiting a bond hearing.
The incident remains under investigation.
