LOUISIANA — A woman has been arrested on an attempted murder charge after deputies say she shot at a relative during an argument Tuesday morning.
According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting along Tiger Bend Road in St. George.
When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.
Investigators said the suspect, identified as 47-year-old Kaylan Perry, had gotten into an argument with the man, who is a relative, before allegedly shooting at him.
Perry was arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a charge of attempted second-degree murder.
The investigation remains ongoing.
