GEORGIA — A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a shooting early Sunday morning on Baybridge Drive.
Glynn County Police Department officers responded around 2:32 a.m. to reports of a shooting at a residence. While investigating, authorities learned from Southeast Georgia Health System that a male victim had been treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Witness statements identified the shooter as James Rhodes of Missouri. Investigators determined the incident stemmed from an altercation at a bar earlier in the evening between two out-of-state coworkers. Rhodes was later located at a local restaurant and taken into custody.
Rhodes faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, reckless conduct, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and tampering with evidence.
