OHIO — A Bellefontaine woman was arrested Thursday afternoon after police said she repeatedly yelled threats from her apartment window.
According to the Bellefontaine Police Department, officers first responded around 3:45 p.m. to the 100 block of West Brown Avenue for reports of an intoxicated woman, identified as 48-year-old Kerri Emrick.
Neighbors told officers Emrick had been drinking and refused to stop yelling from her second-story window. When police entered her apartment, they reported smelling alcohol and saw open cans of Four Loko on the floor.
Emrick admitted she was angry but was only given a warning for disorderly conduct before officers left.
About 20 minutes later, at 4:05 p.m., police were called back after a neighbor reported Emrick had threatened to fight her. Officers again heard Emrick yelling from her window and, after speaking with witnesses, arrested her for persistent disorderly conduct.
She was taken to the Logan County Jail.
