One person arrested following motorcycle crash in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — A 19-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash Wednesday afternoon in Florence, police confirmed.

The crash occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Heights Boulevard near Costco.

According to the Florence Police Department, Joseph Nicholas of Union lost control of his motorcycle and collided with another vehicle.

Florence EMS pronounced Nicholas dead at the scene.

The Florence Police Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Florence Police Department at 859-647-5420.
