INDIANA — A man is facing federal drug charges after authorities seized more than 47 pounds of methamphetamine during an investigation in Evansville, according to the Evansville Police Department.

Officials said the investigation was conducted by the Evansville Resident Office and the Evansville Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force. Detectives had been investigating allegations that David Neighbors was involved in selling methamphetamine.

Authorities said Neighbors was taken into custody Monday. During the execution of a search warrant, investigators recovered more than 47 pounds of methamphetamine.

Neighbors is now facing a federal charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
