TENNESSEE — A fugitive arrest in Memphis earlier this month led to the seizure of multiple illegal drugs, cash, and more than 400 identification cards, according to the Memphis Police Department.
On February 19, 2026, members of the Fugitive Unit conducted a warrant pickup in the 3100 block of Brookmeade Street for 46-year-old Terrance Beauregard. He was taken into custody without incident on outstanding warrants for aggravated assault and vandalism involving $1,000 or less in damages.
During a search incident to the arrest, officers located cash and a pill in Beauregard’s possession. Investigators also observed multiple small plastic baggies inside his vehicle, including one containing a white rock-like substance. Officers reported detecting the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the recovery of marijuana, prescription pills, ecstasy, a digital scale, multiple cell phones, Social Security cards, identification cards and numerous gift cards.
Police later searched the residence and uncovered several hundred additional identification cards and driver’s licenses.
According to investigators, the total items recovered included cash, marijuana, prescription pills, ecstasy, methamphetamine, fentanyl, more than 400 identifications, over 200 gift cards, 16 Social Security cards, two debit cards and one SNAP card.
Beauregard is now facing multiple charges, including possession of controlled substances with intent to manufacture, deliver or sell marijuana, hydrocodone, alprazolam, ecstasy, cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police said additional charges may be filed.
