One person arrested following large drug bust in Ohio

OHIO — Police in Warren County arrested a suspect on multiple drug-related charges after noticing a vehicle improperly parked across two handicap parking spaces.

According to the Hamilton Township Police Department, an officer observed the vehicle and requested a K-9 inspection. A police dog alerted officers to the presence of drugs inside the car.

A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine, loaded syringes, meth pipes and other drug paraphernalia, police said.

The individual was taken into custody and charged with felony possession of drugs, obstructing official business, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful parking in a handicap space. Authorities did not release the suspect’s name.

The incident remains under investigation.
