OHIO — A Portsmouth man was arrested and more than $10,000 worth of drugs were seized during an investigation Monday in Scioto County, according to the Portsmouth Police Department.
Officers arrested 62-year-old John Wallington of Portsmouth on charges of drug trafficking and possession following a search warrant executed as part of the investigation.
During the search, police reported finding 81 grams of suspected fentanyl or other opiates, 9 grams of suspected crack cocaine, five loaded firearms, digital scales, baggies, and $3,801 in cash.
Authorities said the estimated street value of the drugs seized is $10,963.
