KENTUCKY — A Glasgow man is facing multiple charges after police say he assaulted two women and kidnapped a child during a disturbance at a home Thursday.
According to the Glasgow Police Department, officers responded to a call at a residence on Lexington Drive and began an investigation into the incident. Police allege that 42-year-old Troy Lawson came to the home, assaulted two women and then entered a bedroom, where he took a child and left the residence.
Officers later located Lawson and the child a short distance away. Authorities said the child was returned home unharmed.
Lawson was arrested and charged with kidnapping a minor, endangering the welfare of a minor, second-degree assault, fourth-degree assault involving minor injury, second-degree burglary and public intoxication.
Jail records show that no bond has been set.
