OHIO — A man was arrested in Ohio early Tuesday morning after a police chase ended in a collision between an SUV and a semi-truck.
According to Goshen Township Police, officers were pursuing a speeding SUV when it crashed into the back of a semi near the intersection of Route 14 and South Duck Creek Road around 2 a.m.
The driver of the SUV, Brad Belknap, 25, of Atwater, Ohio, was taken to the hospital.
Police charged him with felony fleeing and eluding, receiving stolen property, operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI), and multiple traffic violations.
The semi-truck driver was not injured.
Authorities believe drugs or alcohol may have been involved.
Belknap is scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning.
