OHIO — An Oak Harbor woman was arrested Saturday night following a head-on crash on the Craig Memorial Bridge in Toledo, according to police.
Authorities say the woman was driving southbound on the bridge near Front Street around 10 p.m. when her vehicle collided head-on with another car. Police allege she was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash and had her young son in the back seat.
The driver has been charged with endangering children and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
It remains unclear what caused the crash, and officials have not released information on the conditions of the woman, her child or the occupants of the other vehicle.
The investigation is ongoing.
