VIRGINIA — A man was taken into custody Thursday after a narcotics-related search warrant was executed at a residence in Shipman, according to authorities.
The operation was conducted jointly by the 3A Regional Drug & Gang Task Force and the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office at 11301 James River Road.
Officials say the search resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and the seizure of three firearms.
The man was arrested at the scene for possession of methamphetamine.
Authorities also confirmed he faced additional outstanding charges from another jurisdiction.
The identity of the suspect has not yet been released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
