
TENNESSEE — A Giles County man is facing multiple charges after investigators discovered drugs, weapons, body armor and an explosive device during a search of his home, authorities said.
According to the Giles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies executed a search warrant Wednesday on Strip Mines Road with assistance from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Pulaski Police Department.
Inside the home, officers seized about 59 grams of fentanyl, 79 grams of marijuana, 14 grams of methamphetamine, a large quantity of pills and other items tied to drug sales. Law enforcement also recovered multiple firearms, ammunition, body armor, a large amount of cash and an explosive device.
Deputies arrested Nathan Alsup, who was booked into the Giles County Jail.
Alsup is facing several charges, including possession of fentanyl for resale, possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of marijuana for resale, possession of a prohibited weapon, firearm used in the commission of a dangerous felony and resisting arrest.
The investigation remains ongoing.
