TENNESSEE — A man is facing felony drug charges after authorities discovered more than half a pound of fentanyl in his vehicle during a traffic stop in South Nashville, officials said.
On Tuesday, June 17, investigators observed 41-year-old Victor Paez-Rodriguez leaving a residence in the 5000 block of Cherrywood Drive and getting into his vehicle.
Detectives followed him a short distance before conducting a stop to execute a court-authorized search warrant.
According to court documents, Paez-Rodriguez was the sole occupant of the vehicle. During the search, officers recovered approximately 340 grams of fentanyl.
He was arrested and booked into Metro Jail on a $75,000 bond. Paez-Rodriguez is charged with felony drug possession with intent to sell.
