One person arrested following drug bust in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — A Knoxville man has been arrested and charged with multiple drug- and firearm-related offenses following the execution of search warrants at two residences, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

Police said Rosanne Foster, 45, was charged with sale and delivery of Schedule II drugs, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and simple possession of Schedule VI drugs. The arrest followed an ongoing investigation into cocaine distribution conducted by the Knoxville Police Department.

As part of the investigation, officers executed search warrants at two homes located on Speedway Circle and Catalpa Avenue. The Knoxville Police Department said the residences and individuals associated with them were identified by the Drug Related Death Task Force as being involved in drug distribution.

At the Speedway Circle residence, officers reported finding a loaded handgun, approximately 35 grams of crack cocaine, about 17 grams of marijuana, multiple cell phones, more than $1,700 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.

At the Catalpa Avenue residence, police said they recovered approximately 150 grams of suspected cocaine, ammunition, more than $900 in cash, and various items used in the manufacture of narcotics.
